Playa de Luna is the only bathing establishment within the Marine Park of the Island of Bergeggi and in the Cetacean Sanctuary. In addition to facing the Island of Bergeggi, Playa de Luna is very close to the famous one sea ​​cave of Bergeggi, the most important of Liguria, easily accessible even by swimming.

This Nature Reserve, unique in Liguria, it is one of the most fascinating locations for its landscape and natural heritage.

The Marine Park is a protected area of ​​approx 8 hectares of extension that includes the Island of Bergeggi and a small stretch of rocky coast with beautiful white sand bays, in which our bathing establishment is set. The Nature Reserve offers a typical example of what the Mediterranean scrub is, crystal clear sea and wonderful seabeds rich in fauna.

At Playa de Luna you can rent pedalos and canoes, to see the island and the sea cave up close, snorkeling or an unforgettable swim in these splendid clear waters.

On the island there are signs of the settlement of Ligurian populations from the pre-Roman era. On the top there is an ancient watchtower with a circular base and the remains of a 4th century church, dedicated to the saint Eugene. The depths of the Island of Bergeggi are spectacular, bring a mask and fins!

Our factory is in front of the Bergeggi Island, in a natural bay of white sand, a truly unique location. At sunset, the sky on the island takes on extraordinary colors, then a wonderful moon rises from the sea that will enchant you. The Sea Cave of Bergeggi constitutes an environment of considerable archaeological and naturalistic interest. Frequented since ancient times, inside, numerous paleontological finds dating back to the Neolithic have been found.
